How many times do I have to say I hate smokers?
They are not only ruining their health (which is none of my business anyway), they are also destroying people-surrounding-him's health too. Which I think it's very very selfish.
I don't understand why people pick up smoking. Their reasons (but my excuses) may be stress lah, wanting to be mature lah, or even worse, their partners ditched them.

I think they are such losers. Why? Because of someone who don't cherish you leave you and you have to pick up something that even more ruins your health. Let's laugh once again.

Don't you find it's quite a stupid excuse *oops* reason? Like one of my friend's friend's girlfriend. (Is it too complicated?) Let's call her M and my friend's friend A. A was now studying in US but M was in Thailand. They were both in love with each other and maintained a long-distance relationship for quite some time. They usually communicated thru phone calls and internet chatting.
Until one day A had a paper in a couple more days so he couldn't entertain M. (By the way M was a very demanding girl. When she wanted to talk to him, he had to talk to her.) M got so upset and thus.. went clubbing alone. As if clubbing wasn't enough, she was drunk. As if getting drunk wasn't enough, she willingly had sex with some guy she just knew there. *0*
She then proceeded to call A saying that she just got back from clubbing (it was in the morning already). She also told him she got f***ed by some one whom she liked. (What a complete b*tch??!!) She even said that he had everything she liked. A was like super shocked lor. And the end was what you guessed, they broke up. I said then good for the guy, right?
Nah, that's not actually the end. Of course they were oh so in love and it's quite hard on A's part too. So when A came back to Thailand, he went out with his gang and as usual they went clubbing. A drank until he was damn drunk and didn't know what he was doing. He actually went to M's condo to look for her. He knocked knocked knocked the door til her dad came to open it. (Mind you, it was like 4 am already I think)
When her dad saw him in that condition, he chased A away and shouted that he bugger go away. He didn't deserve his daughter even for a single bit at all. And all the while he remembered he saw her standing in the room without asking her dad to stop shouting.
Then he came thinking. His dad was a managing director in some big company. His mom was working in a bank, with a prestigious title of course. Whereas her dad owned a jewellery shop. He came to think, seriously who doesn't deserve who? Did her dad even know what she had done that time? But then he couldn't be bothered.
LOL. You see? Stupid people have stupid excuses to do some stupid things. Just because your loved couldn't entertain/ditched/cheated (on) you it doesn't mean the end of the world! Why must they go and do all those stupid things, including smoking?
If you want to talk about smoking releases stress. May your cigarette butt burn your tongue! A lot of people I know have so much stress too. But instead of smoking, they do exercises. They do sports. They go watching movies. There are 101 things that can be done to release stress, let alone smoking. Stupid reason. Invalid!
How about acting mature? Hmm I think this is the most stupid excuse that I have ever heard. You want to look mature and you go smoking? WTF. Why can't you put on nice clothes? Why can't you put on make up? If you think smoking will make you look mature I think you are very childish in fact. If I caught my sister/brother smoking, I would smack them with a pan (the wok was for cat abusers). You are so rich, right? From now on don't ask your parents for money huh. Got money don't want to eat, go and smoke instead. You dieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee !
Really, IF I had a brother or a sister, I would do that.
What a waste of money. $10 per packet a day. $300 a month. $3600 a year. $36000 for 10 years. Eh you can even get a cheap car huh. Not interested? How about a Japan trip every year, go to see those none-existing chio bus? Not interested? How about giving your parents $300 every month?
I know of someone who tried his very best to quit smoking. And voila! He managed to get rid of it within 2 weeks! How amazing. I believe if everyone put his heart into quitting smoking, he would succeed. I know someone is going to say hey but everybody is different wat. The guy who quitted smoking in 2 weeks may be one of the few people that can do it.
I'd say "shut your trap" oops "please don't give me these craps". Imagine this. You eat vegetable because you know it's good. You eat meat because you know it's good. You eat, maybe, less fat because it's not very good. I mean fat is good, but it has to be taken in a certain amount. All of these are good for your health if you notice.
Next you know fast food is not good. (Read: Junk food) Therefore you eat less. And hence, does smoking do you any good? No! It doesn't do you anything good at all. If you want to rebutt, please give me a scientific proof as I'm from a science course thus I don't believe all, well most of, hearsay. It's totally rubbish that smoking can release stress! What a nonsense!
I thought of calling all of them losers, but then again, I think twice. Maybe I will just call those people who pick up smoking because their partners ditch them LOSERS then.
Psst! Someone even told me this "You are not them you won't know how it's hard to quit smoking you know. Go on and try starting smoking and show me that you can quit successfully." I asked him to FO. I'm not stupid to pick up the thing that can ruin my health, right? Hahahahaha it was so funny. Then the same person went again "I think I gonna put you into a heroin camp and forced it to you, and let's try and see if you can quit or not." OMFG! He was comparing cigarettes and heroin. What an AH I tell you.
