1) Toopidly called their product "plain flavoured milk" just because BM101 stated that no product should present their inferior, and in this case it's "plain".
2) Toopidly used pink to decorate the containers with the thought that people will
definitely not mistake it as strawberry milk.
3) Toopidly used words "Chilled milk". Damn it. I totally agree with her in this point. They intend to use the word "Chilled", does it mean that this milk will always be chilled? Does it mean that no matter how long you put it under room temperature it will still be chilled? To put it to the extreme, does it mean that if you boil this milk (for the purpose of screwing up some jokers who came up with this idea) and it will always be chilled?
Anyway, that's not my point.
What I am up to is actually this ad below.
Ok folks, I found this at Jurong Point. Actually not me, but it's Terence who spotted it and noticed there was something EXTREMELY wrong about it. Let's guess. See it closely.
Just stare.
No worry, no ghost or shits like that will come out. I got freak out before too.
Ok, come back. Let me tell you. It's not that the guy has a lot of pimples. I have more than that. It's, well, the whole statements are wrong!
Need to get to town fast? Public transport's on your doorstep!
Folks, still cannot see, huh?
Let me ask you this question: Who on earth, ok, in Singapore, will consider buy a CONDO just because it's next to MRT station? Consider the fact, even if you don't have enough money to buy a condo or a house to stay, but it's most likely that you will at least get a car, right? I mean, it's ok for you to get your own transportation even if your pay may be like $3K. So I would assume that if you have enough money to buy a condo or a house, you would definitely have enough money to buy a car and you surely would buy at least one, am I right?
Let's get down to the statement.
"Need to get to town fast?" This seems alright. Anybody (except those who work in Tuas or Changi) needs to get to town fast.
"Public transport's on your doorstep!" Well, do they care? I wonder if the Centris's
marketing team ever realize that nobody, including me, will consider buying/or not
buying a condo just because it's next to MRT station or bus interchange. They surely
have a car. So what's the big deal of "having public transport's on your doorstep" ? I see no point at all.
Hmm, I feel like I want to screw someone. Ok, I will take this little request from
Terence.
I wonder why this ad never mentioned something like "Need good schools? NTU is just 10 minutes away!" Call me schoolist, or whatever it is, but I find it rather interesting to consider this point too. NTU is in fact really very near that location. I even think that they don't want to include NTU's name because it's too "chinna". But seriously, if this condo were to be build next to NUS, would their name be ever mentioned anyway? How about SMU? How about SIM? I remember a few weeks ago I saw this condo ad in ST. It stated very clearly in 1km proximity what there were, like schools, hospitals, polytechnics, etc. Sounds cool huh?
Even poly's name was mentioned too whereas NTU name was just some vapour in the air.
Please note that I have no offend to those from poly ok?
Put it this way, I find that if they had included NTU's name inside their ad, the
possibility that someone from NTU might consider buy should be increasing. Why so? Think about this. I believe many local lecturers live far away from NTU, what I mean is they live in North like Yishun, Woodlands, or even East like Bedok, Changi, Tampines. We all also know very well that lecturers' pay is freakingly high. What I mean is that those lecturers don't have to get stressed over traffic jam and all that. Isn't it nice to have one home far away from work, and another home near workplace?
Sigh, so tired. I am off to recharge myself. Be back when it's full. :)
<thought: sundae. sundae. more sundaes!>
