Is money really the most important thing in our life?
Can I beg to differ?
What if you were able to earn $8K a month but you had no time to spend?
What if you were workaholic and always did OT to earn extra money but you totally ignored your family and your loved ones?
What if you were successful in your business but you had to sacrifice your 10-year-long friendship?
It doesn't matter to me that my boyfriend doesn't buy expensive things for me, doesn't bring me out to eat good/expensive food, doesn't pamper me a lot. Love life of course means more than that, right?
Someone I know bought a $500 jewellery for the girlfriend on some special occasion. OMG. Is his home a money printing service? Someone might think I overreact. In fact, they haven't even worked full-time and earned proper salary yet. I shall not go into much detail anyway. But my point is that you don't need to "pamper" your loved ones with so much money.
As for me, I'd rather have my boyfriend around, with some snacks and some DVD on saturday nights. This is all I would ask for.
Well regarding that girlfriend, she mentioned that "Perlini's Silver" (am I spelling it correctly?) is quite childish as it's quite cheap. If she ever said that to my face, I would just tell her off, "I don't think I'm that old anyway".
Recently I've just bought a bracelet from Perlini's Silver because of Great Singapore Sales. Yeah, all bracelets and pendants are half priced !! I grabbed one for myself and another one for my good friend. I thought it was quite a good deal so I recommended to that girlfriend. You guess. She looked as if I were really poor. Though in fact I am but I hate people who look down on others. After awhile I thought, duhh, as if you were so rich. If you were that rich, go ahead and buy a condo, buy a car, buy LV stuffs then. You b****.
I might seem pretty unreasonable (or unreasonably pretty, thank you) at the moment. But I don't care. Hahaaaaa.
<thought: project. database. webpage. arghhhhh.>
