MOE. Teacher. Bachelor. Master.

The other day I read a newspaper and saw someone's writing.


He said that his friend, a Bachelor degree holder as well as a Master of Science degree holder applied to be a teacher with MOE. By right MOE has categorized new teachers according to what honours they have. That is, First Class, Second Class Upper, Second Class Lower, Third Class, and Pass.


His friend was suggested a Pass degree holder by the MOE. He does not understand why MOE does not recognize the M.Sc. That his friend has and push the salary to those higher than a Pass degree.


My opinion is that his friend most probably does not graduate from the universities that MOE recognizes in the first place. I, as a foreigner being here for only 6 years, also know that there exists such things. Why make a big fuss. Imagine that his friend might not even get a Bachelor degree from a recognized institute, MOE is so kind enough to employ him as a Pass degree holder.
